Muggi tray inventor keen to close the marine plastic pollution loop

A serial inventor and entrepreneur who relocated his business to Cornwall just as the first lockdown ended is looking to help close the marine plastic loop so companies like his no longer have to send their recycled plastic to Denmark at a great carbon cost.
David Trotter, founder of Muggi, moved from Wiltshire to the Falmouth area in the Spring, so he could be nearer the sea for which he has a passion. The inventor, who in a previous career served in the Army and designing high end tree houses for the super rich, came up with his concept for Muggi following a trip on a friend’s yacht just off the coast of Cornwall nine years ago.
